Mother’s Day Campaign
Make it a Mum Moment this Mother’s Day.

We all know that some of our favourite moments and fondest memories are with our mums, so this year the Melbourne Market’s Mother’s Day advertising campaign will highlight these special Mum Moments.  We’ll be encouraging the public to share their #MumMoment on social media for their chance to WIN one of five stunning bouquets.

If your fruit and veg store also sells flowers, then now is the time to get involved and start promoting the Mother’s Day campaign to your customers. You can do this a number of ways:

Collect and display posters in your store – a limited number of A2 printed posters will be available from the Flower Market (National Flower Centre) or Customer Service from Thursday, 28 April
Use the hashtag #MumMoment on all your Mother’s Day posts
Share the social media video on your socials – make the “#MumMoment” video go viral by sharing from the Melbourne Market, National Flower Centre Facebook or Instagram pages
Use “Mum Moment” imagery on your socials
Make up your own posts with “#MumMoment” theme, these could be pics with your mum, a hug, cooking with mum, anything!
Remember to tag @melbourne.market and @NationalFlowerCentre for all your posts.

Check out the series of videos on social media, which showcase #MumMoments with Melbourne flower industry mums.

Fire Safety Procedure Reminder
A reminder that upon activation of any fire alarm or in an emergency, all market entry gates will automatically close, and access cards will not be able to open entry gates.

This measure ensures market users not already on-site are not able to gain entry to the market and inadvertently expose themselves to dangers or hazards unnecessarily.

Exit gates will always remain operational during any emergency situation or alarm activation.

Once the Melbourne Fire Brigade or relevant emergency services give the all-clear and make any necessary changes to the fire panel, entry gates will become operational again.
