Parking permits

A parking permit is required for anyone who wishes to park a vehicle of any type in the Market prior to, or during Market trading hours. To purchase a parking permit, you must have a current access card.

Parking at the Melbourne Market can be obtained by following these steps:

Step 1: Download and complete a parking bay application form

Step2: Submit the form to the Customer Service Centre.

Step 3: At the Customer Service Centre pay the appropriate fee for the type of parking permit required.

Step 4: Quote your access card  number to enable your card details to be updated.

Step 5: You will be notified when your parking has been allocated.


Parking bay disposal

If you have been allocated a parking bay that you no longer want, complete the parking bay disposal form and return it to the Customer Service Centre.

Please note, you will be liable for parking fees up to the date your form is received by the MMA.

When at the Market

  • Make sure your parking permit is clearly visible on your windscreen. All vehicles must display a parking permit while within the Market.
  • Parking permits are transferrable from one vehicle to another.
