Register for the Melbourne Market Golf Day

In support of DEBRA Australia, the Melbourne Market Charity Golf Day is back and registrations are open. This year’s golf day will be held on Friday, 13 October at Heidelberg Golf Club.

Funds raised from the Melbourne Market Charity Golf Day go toward supporting DEBRA Australia, a charity that supports individuals, families, and carers affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a rare disease whereby the skin blisters and peels at the slightest touch.

Since the inaugural golf day 10 years ago, the Melbourne Market Charity Golf Day has raised $619,274 for DEBRA Australia.

A  guaranteed fun day out, including great food, great company, and a variety of prizes and entertainment, help raise much-needed funds for DEBRA Australia this Golf Day. Whether you are a keen golfer, or just looking to show your support, there is a range of ticketing options and sponsorship opportunities available.

A better choice! featured on the Morning Show

This week A better choice! was approached to feature on the Morning Show, to assist with a story all about the importance of shopping seasonally to save money on the kids’ lunch boxes!

This amazing opportunity was provided to Louise Arnold, as another perk for taking out the 2023 A better choice! Retailer of the Year, People’s Choice Award. Louise was also interviewed on 3AW last week where she highlighted the importance of the Melbourne Market and the A better choice! program.

We thank Louise for being such a great ambassador for A better choice! and for local fruit and veg shops all around the country.

We all deserve to work in a safe environment and go home to our families and loved ones at the end of each workday.

Vehicles and forklifts present a significant risk to workplace safety, and while they are essential for work at the market, the consequences can be catastrophic when they are not used safely.
All market users have a responsibility to act in a safe manner at all times.
Stay off your mobile phone while driving.
Obey speed limits.
Don’t take shortcuts.
Wear restraints.

Keep safety in the forefront of your mind in all that you do, making workplace safety your number one priority.
