Tuesday 19th October – Positive COVID cases at the Melbourne Market The MMA has been informed of a positive COVID-19 case in the market. Yogi Patel – Preist Bros. Based on available CCTV monitoring of the above case, and some of the cases listed yesterday, the below locations are classed as exposure sites. Contact tracing via CCTV is a timely process, so this exposure list may be added to as contact tracing continues. Wednesday 13 October 7:00am – 7:03am – JJ’s cafe Thursday 14 October 2:37am – 2:40am – JJ’s Cafe 6:40am – 6:43am – JJ’s Cafe 7:21am – 7:27am – JJ’s Cafe 6:20am – 6:25am – Ground floor toilets (near JJ’s cafe) Friday 15 October 7:46am – 7:58am – JJ’s Cafe 7:50am – 7:52am – Ground floor toilets (near JJ’s cafe) Saturday 16 October 5:54am – 7:01am – Tenancy 106, Preist Bros. 6:09am – 6:12am – Moonbean Cafe 7:22am – 7:25am – Ground floor toilets next to tenancy 106 Sunday 17 October 6:44am – 7:29am – Tenancy 106, Preist Bros. 7:02am – 7:06am – Ground floor toilets next to tenancy 106 Monday 18 October 12:58am – 5:07am – Tenancy 106, Preist Bros. Internal CCTV contact tracing has identified close contacts where possible, and those people have been contacted by the MMA and are isolating. However, if you know you have been in contact with any of the infected people listed today or yesterday, or if you attended any of the exposure areas during the times above, you should isolate and get a COVID test. Do not attend the Melbourne Market. Every Melbourne Market user should be monitoring for symptoms. If the smallest of symptoms develop, do not attend the Melbourne Market.
