Monday 11th October – Positive COVID case at the Melbourne Market The MMA has been informed that a Melbourne Market user has tested positive for COVID-19. Exposure period: Friday 8th October 12:31 am – 7:45 am – Trading floor, stand 320, KA Savage 7:45 am – 7:48 am – Warehouse 5.15, Baxter Valley Produce 7:52 am – 8:04 am – Parking bay 1316 Thursday 7th October 12:09 am – 12:11 am – Warehouse 5.15, Baxter Valley Produce 12:13 am – 12:20 am – Warehouse 6 loading area 12:34 am – 5:37 am – Trading floor, stand 320, KA Savage 6:06 am – 6:15 am – Warehouse 5 loading area 6:15 am – 6:23 am – Warehouses 5.15, Baxter Valley Produce Internal CCTV contract tracing has identified tier 1 contacts where possible; however, if you attended any of the exposure areas during the times listed above, you should isolate immediately and get a COVID test. Every Melbourne Market user should be monitoring for symptoms. If the smallest of symptoms develop, do not attend the Melbourne Market. You should immediately get a COVID-19 test and isolate until you receive a negative result. Melbourne Market Vaccination Hub The MMA had previously advertised that the Vaccination Hub would be open each day this week from 5 am to 12 pm. This time has now been amended, and the clinic will be open from 6 am to 12 pm each morning until Friday 15th October. Whilst priority has always been to administer second doses at the Melbourne Market Vaccination Hub this week, with sufficient medical staff available, Austin Health can now expand to provide first vaccine doses for anyone still needing to get vaccinated.
