| Friday 1st October – Positive COVID case at the Melbourne Market The MMA has been informed that a Melbourne Market cleaner has tested positive for COVID-19. Exposure period: Tuesday 28th September 1:43pm – 1:48pm – Gatehouse 1 security office 1:48pm – 10:06pm – Waste station (located by gate 2) Wednesday 29th September 1:40pm – 1:45pm – Gatehouse 1 security office 1:45pm – 8:05pm – Waste station (located by gate 2) Internal CCTV contract tracing has identified tier 1 contacts where possible; however, if you attended any of the exposure areas during the times listed above, you should isolate immediately and get a COVID test. Every Melbourne Market user should be monitoring for symptoms. If the smallest of symptoms develop, do not attend the Melbourne Market. You should immediately get a COVID-19 test and isolate until you receive a negative result.
