Mandatory Vaccination for Authorised Workers – 6 October 2021 As announced by the Victorian Government last week, a new public health order will require all authorised workers to have their first COVID-19 vaccine dose by Friday, 15 October, to continue working on site. In addition, they will need to be fully vaccinated by 26 November. This public health order is enforced by the Chief Health Officer’s COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions. The latest directions have not yet been released – once released the MMA will be able to communicate further details to market users. In the meantime, we encourage all market access card holders to continue to get vaccinated and organise proof of their vaccination status in preparation.
