QR Code Service

The Victorian Government has a free QR code service in place to assist the DHHS with contact tracing. You will have no doubt used the QR codes many times yourself when visiting restaurants, retail stores or other venues.

While it is not a mandatory requirement within the Melbourne Market, we would encourage market businesses to place QR code scanners at the entrance to their stores, warehouses or work areas.

A QR code system would greatly assist with fast contract tracing efforts should a positive COVID case enter the market, ensuring we keep businesses operational and the Melbourne Market open.

To find out how to register for a QR code visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/register-to-use-vic-gov-qr-code-service

We ask you to be vigilant and continue to follow COVIDSafe practices.

  • Do not attend the Melbourne Market if you are feeling unwell.
  • If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.
