Coronavirus (COVID-19) update – Tuesday 11 May
The DHHS has issued an alert for several Melbourne locations after a man who recently returned from overseas tested positive following his hotel quarantine period.
Currently, four of the sites listed are in Epping, in close proximity to the Melbourne Market.
TIER 1 EXPOSURE SITES – Anyone who has visited these locations during the times listed must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

TIER 2 EXPOSURE SITES – Anyone who has visited these locations during these times is strongly encouraged to urgently get a test and isolate until they receive a negative result.

People continue to return to Australia from overseas, with many hotels throughout Melbourne being used as part of the COVID-19 accommodation program in Victoria; housing returned overseas travellers for 14 days.
Given the highly infectious nature of the virus and past instances all over Australia where it has escaped hotel quarantine, we ask you to be vigilant and continue to follow COVIDSafe practices.
