With 100% occupancy and strong demand for stores on the Buyers’ Walk, the MMA has created a brand new fruit and vegetable tenancy by relocating Sportsman’s Café to a refreshed central site and converting the former café space.
Following the completion of these works, Store 5 is now open for Expressions of Interest.

Businesses are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for this prime location.

EOIs will be assessed on several factors, including but not limited to:

  • Financial return of expression of interest, which takes into consideration a one-off Offer Price to secure the store. Ongoing rent and charges are in addition to this payment
  • Agreement of Lease Terms
  • History (if any) of operations and credit/financial history at the Melbourne Market (or other central markets)
  • Financial and technical capacity of proposed tenant
  • Product lines offered by proposed tenant
  • Fit out requirements.

To ensure fairness, there is a strict submission deadline. EOIs must be received by Monday 21 July, and only businesses that have submitted by this date will be considered.
