It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since the move to our new home in Epping. The persistence, commitment and support from the Market community during this time has been exceptional.

AFL Grand Final Eve Public Holiday
Footy finals have begun and that means we’re due for a public holiday on Grand Final eve.
The Market will be closed on Friday 30 September 2016.
Warehouse access remains unchanged on public holidays. Access for warehouse tenants is 24 hours 7 days a week.
Other upcoming upcoming public holidays including Melbourne Cup Day and Christmas holidays will be published on the MMA website and in this e-news in the coming weeks.
Disabled toilet access
Recently we’ve been working to upgrade the locks on the disabled toilets. This work has now been completed and all disabled toilets now require swipe access for entry.
This work ensures disabled toilets are clean and available for those who need them.
If you require access to disabled toilets in the Market, please visit the Customer Service Centre between 4:00am and 11:00am Monday to Friday or call them on 9258 6123 to have this access applied to your Market access card.

Melbourne Market 40 Year Service Award
If you’ve worked continuously in the Market for 40 years or more, you could be eligible for the Melbourne Market 40 Year Service Award.
This Award recognises members of our Market community who have worked within the wholesale Market for 40 years or more. The 40 years of service can include a mix of employment from working as an employee to owning your own business, working for more than one employer or working across multiple industries for example retail buyers, wholesalers, growers or logistics.
You can find more details about the award and the approval process on the 40 Year Service Award Fact Sheet.
To apply for the award, ensure you meet the criteria outlined in the fact sheet and then complete the application form.
