Stand allocation in the Fruit and Vegetable Market
The MMA has been monitoring fruit and vegetable stand usage for some time and has commenced a course of action that will see changes to the allocation of stands on the fruit and vegetable trading floor.
Those affected by these changes will receive communication from the MMA over the coming weeks.
Want to know more? Contact our Property Administration on 9258 6100.
Tired of queues? We now have BPAY!
The Market is pleased to introduce BPAY as a payment option for your Market invoices.
Your next invoice will include an option to make payments for access cards, parking and other charges via BPAY, an electronic bill payment system which allows you to make easy payments directly from your accounts either online or over the phone (excludes rent and utilities).
Just look for the BPAY details on the bottom of your invoice and save time today!
Have you lost your access to the Market this week?
If you’re a fruit and vegetable stand holder, or work for a fruit and vegetable stand holder, and lost access to the Market this week, chances are your employer has not complied with their obligations under clause 1.1 (b) Market Operating Rules regarding pooling equipment.
Re-activating your access is simple, visit the Customer Service Centre to update your pooling account details today.
Pooling equipment (pallet) accounts are required as the theft of pallets is estimated to be costing the Market community millions of dollars annually, increasing the cost of doing business at the Market.
Find out more here.
Access card common expiry on 30 April 2016 – what happens next.
Thank you to everyone who sent back their access card changes over the past two weeks. The MMA are now updating details.
Invoices will be issued for all Market businesses from 1 April for renewal costs of all current access cards.
If you have questions regarding your invoice, please contact the MMA on 9258 6100.
