Access card common expiry – get your changes in by 23 March

By now, all Market businesses should have received a letter advising on the access card common expiry date of 30 April.

Before we send out your invoice, don’t forget to advise the MMA of changes to access cards linked to your business by 23 March by one of the following methods:

  • Drop off your form to one of the designated mail boxes located next the cafe in the Flower Market and outside the Customer Service Centre on the Buyers’ Walk, or
  • Email a scanned copy of your form to cashiers@melbournemarket.com.au.

Please contact the Customer Service Centre between 4:00am to 11:00am Monday to Friday if you have any queries or if you haven’t received your letter.

Pooling equipment enforcement dates for Stores and Stands

All access cards linked to businesses who fail to comply with their obligations under clause 1.1 (b) Market Operating Rules regarding pooling equipment will be deactivated on the following dates:

  • Stores: 18 March 2016
  • Stands: 24 March 2016.

Pooling equipment (pallet) accounts are required as the theft of pallets is estimated to be costing the Market community millions of dollars annually, increasing the cost of doing business at the Market.

Don’t get caught out. Register your pooling equipment account or statutory declaration with the MMA today.
