All farmers are welcome to attend the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) Farmers’ Forum dinner in Yering tomorrow from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.
It’s your chance to find out information regarding the new Horticulture Code, the policy and IR update, as well as the top three issues which affect you.

The fresh produce industry is invited to attend a free session at the Market on Wednesday 9 August to learn how to identify and trace fresh produce.
Presented by GS1 Australia, the session will include the following:
- Benefits of DataBar for fresh produce – effective use through the supermarket chain and what this means for growers, pack houses and traders
- What’s happening in Foodservice – identify, captrue and share – and how this is used
- Traceability of fresh produce in Healthcare – what is being asked
- How does the fresh produce industry respond to the above requirements
