Calling all Greengrocers – we need your feedback

The Fruit and Vegetable Retailers Advisory Committee has discussed the need for a formal training program specifically tailored for greengrocery.

Following the consultation undertaken during June by Melbourne Polytechnic, solid progress is being made in this area to have a training program available by early 2017.

At this stage of the course development, Melbourne Polytechnic need feedback from greengrocers to ensure the program they’re developing meets your needs.

We would appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes to complete the survey by clicking here.

National Nutrition Week 16 to 22 October – Try For 5 Challenge

It’s astonishing that less than 4% of Australians get enough vegetables each day.

Let’s turn that around with National Nutrition Week and strengthen our voice about how to enjoy more vegetables every day.

This year’s theme, Try For 5, aims to encourage more Aussies to eat their five serves of vegetables every day.  Because eating more vegetables is one of the easiest, cheapest – and tastiest – things we can all do for better health and wellbeing.
