Tell us what you think

The Market satisfaction survey closes at the end of this week, have you given your feedback yet?
The data collected is used to improve the operations, facilities and opportunities for businesses at the Melbourne Market.
The survey for the fruit and vegetable market still live, and you can access it by clicking here.
Don’t forget, as a bonus, the first 65 people to complete the survey will receive a $15 voucher to use at participating Market cafes!

TV commercial to be filmed in the Market

A Better Choice will be rolling out a Victorian television advertising campaign during the Australian Open tennis tournament.
Filming for the TV commercial will take place in the Market on the Buyers’ Walk between 2nd and 3rd of January with the commercial to be aired on Channel 9 from January 15.
Mangoes and tomatoes will be the in-season produce featured in the commercial, which focuses on the expert knowledge and service consumers can expect from their local greengrocer.
This is the first big rollout of an A Better Choice TV commercial in Victoria, so there’s never been a better time to be a part of the program.
Sign up today and check out the A Better Choice social channels below.
And remember, if local greengrocers are doing well, then the whole supply chain benefits.

Market Fresh Schools Program

Teisha Dower and Carolyn Creed would like to thank the many traders who have generously donated premium produce to the Market Fresh Schools Program throughout 2019.
Your generosity has enabled the program to continue being so successful.
Teisha and Carolyn look forward to educating more children about fresh healthy produce, and the supply chain from paddock to plate, in 2020.

Always remember to keep your worksite clean. As Jess points out, produce and wet floors can be a slip hazard.
Thanks for the tip, Jess!

“Santa Claus is coming to… the Market”

Keep an eye out on Thursday morning when a special visitor with two helper elves will be visiting the Market to spread some Christmas cheer!
Santa will be giving out some goodies and taking the opportunity to collect money for The Royal Children’s Hospital, so if you are feeling generous, you can place your spare change in Santa’s tin.
