New Proposal for Truck Parking at Epping – 641

Design intent

The design intent of the new Market is to allow businesses to conduct their tasks easier, safer and manage costs more appropriately.

With this in mind and following feedback from store lease holders and Fresh State, a revision has been made to the parking arrangements at the new Market communicated via the Parking Expression of Interest letter dated 27 November 2014.

Covered truck parking bays – adjacent to trading stores

Store holders have been given the opportunity to express their interest in receiving a covered truck parking bay adjacent to their store (parking bays shaded red on Map 1).

This opportunity is still available to any large, medium or small store lease holder as communicated in the letter dated 27 November 2014 at the nominated fee.

Covered truck parking bays – adjacent to trading stands

These bays, also shaded red on Map 1, will be unreserved and available on a first come, first served basis for a 45 minute maximum time period to allow vehicles to load and unload (during the pre and post trade period).

Utilising these bays for loading and unloading is free of charge.

Once the vehicle has completed loading / unloading it must leave the Market or be relocated to a paid parking bay elsewhere on the site (as per the options in the letter dated 27 November 2014).

The time limit aims to ensure the integrity of the design intent for all Market users.

New proposal

Any covered truck parking bay adjacent to a trading store where an expression of interest is not received for a reserved parking bay by a store lease holder will also become unreserved – therefore available on a first come first serve basis for a 45 minute maximum time period to allow vehicles to load / unload (during the pre and post trade period).

Utilising these unreserved bays for loading and unloading is free of charge.

This arrangement will be reviewed after 90 days from opening to determine workability.

Any store lease holder who has already completed and returned their Expression of Interest forms will be contacted to confirm their position on the parking bay adjacent to their store following this new proposal.
