Celebration of 40 years at the Market
Congratulations to Giuseppe Cidoni from Flowers of Melbourne who recently celebrated 40 years of continuous service to the Market.
Giuseppe started working part-time when he was eight-years-old delivering papers and started full-time work when he was 15.
He said he had a lot of nice memories of his time in the Market which was full of “beautiful people”.
Although he has now retired he still comes to the Market to visit his son.
It’s an incredible achievement and we thank you for your contribution, Giuseppe.
Public Liability Insurance certificate reminder
 Don’t forget to provide the MMA with an updated Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate for your business if it’s expired since 30 June 2017.
The certificates need to reflect the following information:
- Insured name to be the name of the Lessee/Licensee
- Minimum public liability coverage of $20 million for any single event
- The Melbourne Market, Cooper Street, Epping VIC 3076 noted as a situation of risk
- The Melbourne Market Authority noted as an interested party
Certificates can be emailed directly to MMA Property Administrator Rowena Sculli.
Parking permit renewals overdue
If you haven’t yet paid your 2017/2018 parking permit renewal invoice, please visit or call the Customer Service Centre on 9258 6123 to settle your account in full.Please note, parking permit stickers are not valid until payment has been made. In accordance with operating rule 11.3 (a) a person parking on Market land must display a valid parking permit authorising the vehicle to park in that parking space. |
