Valentine’s Day campaign

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so don’t forget to download the Real Men Send Flowers campaign material at www.poweroftheflower.com.au.

This cheeky campaign targets the male population – as the largest purchasers of flowers around Valentine’s Day – to maximise the return on investment for the campaign.

All florists are encouraged to use the campaign elements online, on social media and for store merchandise.

This year we want to make the hashtag #RealMenSendFlowers go viral and to do this we need your support.

Free Valentine’s Day wrap stickers

Collect your free Valentine’s Day wrap stickers from the Melbourne Market this Thursday and Saturday. Stickers will be available outside APACK. Each pack has approximately 100 stickers, so take what you think your will need but remember to allow some for other florists.

These stickers are designed to encourage the flower recipient to post a photo of their flowers, bouquets or their special gift to the hashtag #RealMenSendFlowers

How to use these stickers:

  1. Place the sticker across a flower food sachet
  2. Use to seal the flower wrap instead of sticky tape
  3. Place on the back of gift cards or below message
  4. Use to attach gift card or your business card

Encourage your followers to use the hashtag #RealMenSendFlowers by posting on your social media.

Access card common expiry – form return reminder

All business principals should have received a letter from the MMA last week listing the active card users linked to their business.

This form needs to be carefully completed and returned to the MMA by 21 February.

We hope Market users enjoyed this year’s Luna New Year celebrations on 31 January.

Flower growers wanted

This year’s Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show will feature behind the scenes video footage of the history and families behind Victoria’s flower farms.

This video content will be displayed to over 100,000 visitors at the show. It will also be part of the launch of a Flowers Victoria You Tube Channel.

Businesses involved will be able to use this footage in their own marketing efforts.
