All Melbourne Market businesses have the opportunity to list their details for free on the Melbourne Market website and App or the MarketFresh website.
To ensure your customers can find and contact you, it’s important you check your listing is up to date.
Businesses within the Flower Market (e.g. stands, supplies, cafes)
Businesses located within the Market are listed on the Melbourne Market website as well as on the Melbourne Market Navigator app. These listings not only help new buyers locate your business within the Market, but can also provide them with contact details for orders and enquiries.
All new buyers to the Market are encouraged to download the Melbourne Market Navigator App, so make sure your listing is there!

- Download the Melbourne Market Navigator App and search for your business name.
- Check both your listings are accurate and include all the details your customers need to find you. This can include, contact names, phone numbers, location, email, website as well as your main product lines.

Florists and retail shops
Greengrocers and other retails stores who purchase their fresh produce from the Melbourne Market can have their business listed for free on the MarketFresh website.
This listing is a comprehensive online directory and is also used in promotions and competitions to help drive customers to your store. Make sure your business is listed and up to date.
- Head to www.marketfresh.com.au/find-your-greengrocer/ and search for your business name.
- Check your listing is accurate and includes all the details your customers need to find you. This can include address, phone numbers, email, website as well as your specialties.
- Click the “Claim your Business” link on the top right hand side of the page so you can edit and update your listing at any time

Market Trading Hours
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the Market trading hours consultation. An outcome will be communicated in the next few weeks.
Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
The Market will be closed on Tuesday, 1 November 2016.
The Fruit and Vegetable Market will open at 3:30am on Wednesday, 2 November 2016.
Warehouse access remains unchanged on public holidays. Access for warehouse tenants is 24 hours 7 days a week.
Melbourne Market Wi-Fi Packages
The Melbourne Market free Wi-Fi trial is ending this week! If you still require Wi-Fi in the Market, the MMA has great data packages available.
It’s simple, to secure Wi-Fi for your business simply:
- Download and complete the Wi-Fi application form.
- Choose the package that best suits your business needs.
- Return the form to the MMA with your payment and your account will be created.
Wi-Fi is available within the main fruit and vegetable trading floor and buyers’ walk, the flower market, parking areas and warehouses 5 and 6.

Previously located in Warehouse 6, they are now located on the ground floor of the Melbourne Market Administration Building.
