Flower Market Circular – Edition 30
Collect your Valentine’s Day Promotional pack from Melbourne Flower Market this Thursday, 28 January from 4.30 am.
As we all know, flowers are a symbol of love, however when Valentine’s Day falls on a weekend, romantics opt for the lavish gifts like weekends away or dinner out. But this Valentine’s Day we want everyone to know, it’s ok to wine and dine your loved one, you can even f
ly them to the moon and back, but don’t forget the flowers!
Nothing says ‘I love you’ like flowers this Valentine’s Day.
This year to drive the purchase of flowers on Valentine’s Day, the Melbourne Market Authority (MMA), Flowers Vic and a number of stand holders have joined forces to invest in a marketing campaign.
The campaign commences on Monday, 8 Feb and includes a mix of radio, online and social media advertising. To support your business and drive traffic we have developed a range of point of sale and online banner material for Florists to utilise. These include:
- Posters (available electronically in A2 and A3)
- Facebook banners
- Tips for Instagram and social media
- Email signatures
- Window Decal (free of charge)
- Merchandise – t-shirts and aprons will be available for purchase (see below)
Your Promotional pack will be available at the Flower Market on Thursday, 28 January from 4.30 am.
To make it even easier for Florists, the printed versions of the posters will be made available on the Trading Floor by Art and Style (a tenant of the market). A3 and A2 posters will be available for purchase at $5 and $10 respectively. Or you can take the electronic files to your local Officeworks for printing.
Our recent survey of Florists highlighted a desire by Florists to have merchandise for their staff, so we have worked with Art and Style (Shop 78a) to offer aprons and T-shirts for Florists to wear from $16.50 each. Samples will be on display on Thursday, 28 January. Orders must be made directly with Art and Style on email@example.com
So listen out for our radio ads and let’s get fresh cut flowers all over social media for love’s most major event. You can join in merchandising your store with the posters / window decal and by updating your Facebook page, Instagram and website to reflect the “don’t forget the flowers” message.
Have a happy Valentine’s Day!
