| Flower Market will remain open Following our earlier announcement, we are now pleased to advise that the Government has confirmed an amendment to the Stage 4 Restrictions which now allows the Melbourne Wholesale Flower Market to remain open. This amendment was made on the basis that the Market community will continue to operate in a COVID-19 safe manner, which includes wearing face coverings, practising social distancing and ensuring good hygiene. The MMA appreciates the support of the Minister for Agriculture, Jaclyn Symes and the Agriculture team within the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. Businesses operating from the Melbourne Flower Market must have COVID Safe Plan in place. You can find out more about a COVID Safe Plan by clicking here. We welcome the decision made by the Government for the benefit of the flower industry.
