Site Maintenance – grinding of forklift routes for a smoother ride
Over the past weeks, concrete grinding has occurred on the main, covered forklift route that runs North to South through the centre of the trading stands (T2).
These works reduce the bumps in the forklift route, minimising the risk of accidents and loss of produce.
The second stage of this work is to remove the final bump that occurs at the end of the covered section of the route where the concrete meets the asphalt. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of June. In the interim, please continue to approach this section with caution.
Access card renewals – cards deactivate for unpaid accounts
As you are aware, all access cards to the Market now have a common expiry date of 30 April. All Market businesses were issued with an invoice for access card renewals due on 15 April 2016.
The MMA is now deactivating all cards associated with unpaid accounts.
To reactivate your card you are required to pay your outstanding account immediately. Contact the Melbourne Market Customer Service Centre Monday to Friday 4:00am to 11:00am Monday to Friday on 9258 6123 or visit them in person.
