Mother’s Day Campaign

Make it a Mum Moment this Mother’s Day!

We all know that some of our favourite moments and fondest memories are with our mums. This year, the Melbourne Market’s Mother’s Day advertising campaign will highlight these special Mum Moments through radio advertising on Nova 100 and Smooth FM and a social media competition.

If your fruit and veg store also sells flowers, then now is the time to get involved and start promoting the Mother’s Day campaign to your customers. You can do this in a number of ways:

  1. Collect and display posters in your store – a limited number of A2 printed posters will be available from the National Flower Centre (NFC) from Tuesday, 2 May
  2. Encourage customers to share their favourite #MumMoment with the NFC competition
  3. Keep an eye out on social media and follow the NFC to reshare the “#MumMoment” video and make it go viral
  4. Use “Mum Moment” imagery on your socials

Remember to follow and tag @melbourne.market and @NationalFlowerCentre for all your posts.

For all enquiries, phone Theresa on 9258 6191.

Ride 2 Be Wise update

Grant Nichol has begun his amazing charity bike ride!
So far, they have travelled through Alice Springs, Aileron, Ti Tree, Barrow Creek, Devils Marbles, Tennant Creek, Banka Banka and Renner Springs for a total of approximately 880km on their charity bike ride for the Pat Cronin Foundation.

They have raised just over $90,000 and aim to hit $100,000 by the time they reach Darwin on Friday, 12 May.

The Market community raised $800 from just our smoothie bikes during the Children in the Market event. Many businesses have donated to the foundation, and you still have time to contribute to this wonderful cause via the link below!
