HeartKids Hero Day at the Market! Wednesday, June 29 | 5am – 7.30am. HeartKids Hero Day is tomorrow! Don’t miss out on this amazing event! Join us between 5am – 7.30am outside Customer Service. HeartKids Hero Day will be the biggest event the market has seen since the start of the pandemic, and we’re proud to get behind such a worthy cause. There will be plenty of fun activities for children and adults alike, including entertainment from our MC’s Adam & Symon from Logie winning show, Gogglebox Australia.  Tune in to find out what a day in the life of a professional footballer looks like when Adam & Symon interview AFL stars Jack Riewoldt from the Richmond Football Club and Jaidyn Stephenson from the North Melbourne Football Club. Then test out your handball skills and even get some pro tips at the handball competition!   All Market users are invited to come along to enjoy a delicious breakfast and hot coffee, just keep an eye out for the superheroes; they could drop in at any point to take some action shots! And make sure you’re prepared for the auction, where you’ll be able to outbid your fellow market users for some fantastic prizes on offer. Please ensure any children attending are pre-registered before the event and accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times. To register, please complete the registration form here and print and return it to Customer Service. Once submitted, your application is automatically accepted unless you are notified otherwise. Remember to visit Gate 1 upon arrival to collect your child’s hi-vis vest and access card. Foodbank Hamper Drive  The Melbourne Market is proud to support Foodbank Victoria when they run their annual hamper drive this Sunday, 3 July between 12pm – 5pm. Foodbank will be distributing over 1000 boxes containing non-perishable items and fresh produce sourced directly from the market to those in need. The hamper drive will take place in the Visitor carpark in front of the administration building near Gate 1. During this time there may be minor delays for those accessing the site. However, traffic management will be in place to ensure access for market users is available at all times, via the left lane, as you approach Gate 1.
