TV commercial to be filmed in the Market

A Better Choice will be rolling out a Victorian television advertising campaign during the Australian Open tennis tournament.
Filming for the TV commercial will take place in the Market on the Buyers’ Walk between 2nd and 3rd of January with the commercial to be aired on Channel 9 from January 15.
Mangoes and tomatoes will be the in-season produce featured in the commercial, which focuses on the expert knowledge and service consumers can expect from their local greengrocer.
This is the first big rollout of an A Better Choice TV commercial in Victoria, so there’s never been a better time to be a part of the program.

“Santa Claus is coming to… the Market” 

Keep an eye out on Thursday morning when a special visitor with two helper elves will be visiting the Market to spread some Christmas cheer!
Santa will be giving out some goodies and taking the opportunity to collect money for The Royal Children’s Hospital, so if you are feeling generous, you can place your spare change in Santa’s tin.

Plant based meat trend gathers pace

Plant-based meat startup Fable, has attracted $1.5 million in funds from investors as the meat alternative trend gathers pace.
Fable’s plant-based meat product launched at Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner restaurant in Melbourne and is designed to taste as “neutral” as possible.
Fable has been co-founded by Jim Fuller (ex-Great Australian Mushroom Company), Chris McLoghlin and Michael Fox.
