Check all the details listed under your business,
Send us an email with any updates required including having import and/or export added as a feature on your listing.

Lunar New Year Celebrations from 5am today

The Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne are visiting the Market this morning from 5:00am to 6:30am. Keep a look out for these amazing performers and please take care when travelling around the Market.

Labour Day public holiday

The Fruit and Vegetable market will be closed on Monday 12 March for the Labour Day public holiday.

If your parking permit only allows access on a day where a public holiday falls, and you would like to come to the Market on an alternative adjacent day (for example your parking permit is for a Monfsy and you would like to access the Market on Tuesday 13 March), you will not be charged for parking and can enter the Market. However please note, your regular bay may not be available. Please seek instruction from a Market Relations Officer on arrival.

Warehouse access remains unchanged. Access for warehouse tenants is 24 hours 7 days a week

The Department of Jobs and Small Business are holding an info session to help the Market community find out more about the services, programs and incentives that can help you secure staff.

The session will be tailored to the Market environment and will include how you can access:

screened and job ready candidates;
pre-employment training; and
work-related equipment and support while new employees settle in.

Find out more about how your jobactive provider can also provide you with access to wage subsidies of up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) to help you increase your workforce and help you to access work experience and internship programs, enabling you to trial a candidate before you hire.

Registrations are open for the Melbourne Market Golf Day

Registrations are now open for the Melbourne Market Golf Day on Friday 16 March 2018 at the Heidelberg Golf Club. This day traditionally sells out fast and there are a limited number of team places available so get your entries in quick!

Run by the Fresh State in conjunction with the Melbourne Market Authority and the Melbourne Market Lions Club every dollar made is donated directly to our nominated charity DEBRA Australia

This is always a great afternoon and evening and 2018 is looking better than ever. We have not one but THREE major hole-in one prizes on offer. Hit a hole-in-one on a nominated hole and you could win a luxury Alfa Romeo, courtesy of Zagames, or a forklift from Toyota Material Handling, or a cash prize of $25,000 to the winner and $25,000 to DEBRA Australia – That’s a combined value of over $150,000 up for grabs!
